	<p>Lo ionizzatore possiede due aghi conduttivi che, alimentati ad un alta tensione, producono ioni con carica positiva e negativa. Questi ioni sono attratti dal materiale di pesata elettrostaticamente caricato e neutralizzano così il carico elettrostatico disturbante.<br />
Neutralizzando le cariche elettrostatiche scompaiono le forze che falsificano la pesata. (es. risultato pesata errato, instabilità).</p>
